The practice is led by Ewan Maclean and Emelda Maclean who are both Members of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Ewan and Emelda have over 20 years experience each in the town planning profession, both within local government and within the private sector. The Planning etc Scotland Act 2006 came into effect in August 2009 and brought with it a number of changes to the planning legislation, covering not least, the procedure for submitting planning applications, changes to the procedure for preparing development plans.
